1 The Kerala Catholic Engineering College Managementsí Association has decided
to introduce a separate selection procedure for admission to B.Tech course
2008-09 in the following colleges in the light of the decisions of the Hon.
Supreme Court and High Court, in the matter. The names, addresses, codes
and intake capacity of institutions are in page 1(inside cover) of the prospectus:
2 The prospectus contains the rules and regulations applicable for selection and admission to Engineering Course for 2008-09 for the above said institutions run by the Catholic community. This prospectus contains procedure for admission to all seats other than for the children /dependents of NRIs.
3 This prospectus is subject to modification /addition /deletion as may be deemed necessary by the Association subject to further orders, if any, passed by appropriate authorities/courts of law.
4 Each college will have its own policies of reservation, which are separately explained in the respective pages relating to each college.
Criteria of Eligibility For Admission
Candidates must be Citizens of India.
1 Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with at least Fifty percent marks in Mathematics separately and Fifty percent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade.
2 The percentage / number of seats other than NRI seats proposed to be reserved for various groups by each college is given in Annexure I
3 Rounding off of the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted
1 Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December 2008. No relaxation of age will be allowed.
